What I'd Wear - To LFW

What I'd Wear...To LFW Front Row

As a proud member of Motel Rocks' Street Team I was recently contacted about a competition they're holding for one of us to win an amazing prize. Entrants have the task of creating an outfit they would wear for a day on the front row at London Fashion Week this February, the winner gets the chance to live the dream and attend the event as Motel Rocks' blogger for the day. I know, wow. Take a minute to process that in all its glory and carry on reading when you're ready, m'love.

Now I'm no stylist, but you've got to be in it to win it eh? I instantly knew I wanted to go for an androgynous vibe and channel the remains of the oxblood trend. Being the massive Topshop fiend that I am I headed straight to there website and picked out a chic white shirt and leather shorts combo - the beautiful paisley bomber jacket deserves to take centre stage.

Add a classic patent bowler bag into the equation (camera, notebook and other bloggy essentials won't carry themselves you know) and I was almost done. Just the all important perfect shoe remained to round it all off. My heart led the way - being a 'flats girl 'and general Dr Martens fanatic the only option was the Aggy creeper, in the gorgeous deep red to bring out the colouring in the jacket. Clever.

Black tights are a must - fashion week is in February so murky British winter weather will be joining the fashion lovers down in London. Plus my pins are certainly not suitable to public viewing right now, milk bottle anyone?

Quick slick of good old MAC Ruby Woo, run some tousled waves through your hair and you're good to go. Camera at the ready.

  1. Great LFW outfit - this is definitely something I'd expect the fashionistas to be wearing. I adore the bomber jacket which would look just as cool with faux leather leggings and an oversized knit as it would with your androgynous cool outfit.
