Review: Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder

Rimmel Clear Complexion Pressed Powder - £3.99 at Boots
I was relcutant to review this as I hadn't taken a picture of it when it was all pretty and new, but then I thought - if anything, shouldn't proof that I've used it loads be even better?

My skin is irritatingly oily and I really struggle to find ways of controlling it - I often avoid make up purely because my bare face couldn't ever look worse than patchy, sliding make up. In steps this bad boy.

I've seen a lot of bloggers rave over the famous Rimmel's Stay Matte powder but I've always steered towards this as I figured anything claiming to give a clear complexion is probably a better choice for my acne prone skin.

Now I'm not going to claim that this cures acne, it doesn't, but it certainly didn't irritate it or clog my pores either and the natural minerals do seem to gently soften the skin - so I'm definitely not complaining!

I set any BB Cream, foundation etc that I've used with a dusting of this and then reapply a couple of times to my t-zone during the day (which normal/less oily types probably wouldn't need to do). It absorbs oil, keeps make up in place and gives very light coverage without being cakey. What a babe.

I was hoping to compare it to the Witch pressed powder but I it exploded into approximately 4 million pieces on my bedroom floor after 2 uses. Sob.

If anyone has any reccomendations for similar powders, leave them in the comments below. Have you tried this product?
