Over on Daisybutter the lovely Michelle is holding a competition with DVF for Evian, in association with Selfridges, to win a £200 Selfridges voucher and a limited edition 1L bottle of Evian. To enter you create a Valentines Day themed outfit, perhaps what you'd wear on the night, featuring at least one item from Selfridges. Leave her a link, follow her blog and voila - you have entered! See the full details here.
I decided to keep it classy but use classic Valentines reds to spruce it up and give the look some oomph. The statement here is of course this beautiful red Jones by Jones for Topshop dress with it's sheer panels that add a bit of personality, but the classic black and gold touches really finish it off perfectly. Seizing the opportunity to be totally indulgent I just knew I had to include this stunning Vivienne Westwood Frilly Snake bag (at £220 I am of course dreaming!). For one more little touch of luxury I excitedly added one of the gorgeous Chanel Rouge Allure lipsticks in the shade Coromandel.
To round that little lot off I opted to throw this chic Topshop blazer over the top, Valentines day does take place in the British winter after all plus we've all yet to shift our Christmas bingo wings, and finish the whole look off with these gorgeous River Island wedges. At just £30 they sort of make up for the hypothetical splurge on a VW bag...
What would you choose if you had a £200 Selfridges voucher? Will you be entering?
